AAR...The Summary

This is gonna be a summary of everything that i've posted about AAR. We arrived at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur for the  autograph session around 10 in the morning. People were already crowding the area even though the event is schedules to start at 11.30. The purchase of an album entitles the buyer to a Meet & Greet token. The official pass can be redeemed from DiGi's booth at Bukit Jalil. All DiGi users are entitles to a free poster, just flash your phones and go. The wait was a long one. Rudy of Hitz.fm was there as a host for the event. Fans were all hyped up from their slumber when Rudy announced that free hampers would be given away [questionnaires comes first, needless to say]. By noon, the All-American Rejects arrived in two Toyota Alphards. Shutterbugs did their thing by snapping away with their DSLR cameras, video cams, and as for me, i only brought my phone out.[well, at least better than nothing]..Someone fainted just by looking at them. Oh wait, i'll take those back..someone fainted even before meeting them! And i thought these kind of things only happen in movies..[even then, i thought they were fakes]

After that, we went for lunch at McD and then, Bukit Jalil. We camped from 3 till 6 for the gates to open. Hot and sticky. That's what i'll comment.. The line gets longer every minute and within an hour, it was wayyyyyyyyyy back... Gates opened at 6pm and bloody crap, it was a stampede..i've been squeezed, molested and suffocated in many ways....and FINALLY, we passed the gates ...ALIVE.. Malaysians never cease to "impress" me..ah well, i'm also a Malaysian myself..lol.

We managed to get into the Heat Zone just by chatting with some Hitz.fm crews. So, it was a good idea to talk to people anyway! Some were dressed in concert attire [the normal tees and jeans/shorts], Halloween costumes..and err, cocktail dresses [wow..seriously]. It's just as stuffy in the Heat Zone, and it's nowhere near the stage.. After that, it's just another party on Earth..the concert ended around 11.

As for us with the Meet & Greet passes, we were brought backstage. This is where they really pissed me off. I wouldn't mention who..but those guys in charge [not from DiGi] are just plain arrogant. Meet & Greet was not what it claimed to be..it was more like a photography session..we met them but were not allowed to greet them..how f**king ironic.

We were told to leave after that, but oh well, there were a few hardcore fans... lol, browse through my pictures! Thanks for reading and bearing with the poor photo quality..sorry guys and gals. Hopefully, more pics will be uploaded when i receive them..
